A bachelor or bachelorette weekend in Las Vegas is a logistics exercise wearing a party hat. Eight or ten people arriving on different flights, a dinner reservation, a show, a club with a guest list, a pool party the next day and a group that needs to stay together throughout. Transportation is the piece that quietly decides whether the weekend runs smoothly or turns into a string of rideshare queues.

This guide walks through how to plan it, which vehicle to pick and how to book with bachelor party transportation las vegas from Chauffeur Service Las Vegas.

Start with the arrival

Most groups fly into Harry Reid International Airport (LAS), 6 miles from the Strip: 15 minutes off-peak and 25-40 minutes in rush traffic. The first decision is whether everyone can be collected together.

If the group lands within an hour or so of each other, one pickup works well: send dispatch every flight number, and the chauffeur is timed to the group. Flight tracking moves the pickup if a flight is late. If arrivals are spread across the day, book two transfers rather than making early arrivals wait at the curb.

Check terminals before you book. Terminal 1 serves Southwest, American, Delta and Allegiant; Terminal 3 serves United, Frontier, Alaska, JetBlue, Hawaiian and international airlines, and the two have separate baggage-claim and curbside pickup areas. A group split across both terminals needs a plan for meeting up, using the airport’s inter-terminal shuttle to reach an agreed pickup terminal or by booking separate vehicles.

Pick the right vehicle

The single biggest mistake is booking a vehicle that is too small and splitting the group. Choose by headcount and bags:

  • Executive SUV: up to 6 passengers and 6 bags. Right for smaller groups, and for evenings out once luggage is at the hotel.
  • Sprinter Van: up to 12 passengers and 12 bags. The standard for larger parties. One vehicle, one chauffeur, one price, and everyone arrives together.
  • Mercedes S-Class: up to 3 passengers and 2 bags. Some groups add one for the guest of honour's entrance.

Point-to-point service starts at $200 for the SUV and $710 for the Sprinter, set at booking and not subject to surge pricing. The full rate card lists hourly rates. Note that our fleet is built around SUVs, Sprinters and the S-Class rather than stretch limousines; for what that means in practice, see limo service las vegas.

Plan the big night hourly

For the main night out, an hourly booking is almost always the better choice. The chauffeur takes the group to dinner, waits, goes on to the show, waits again, and is ready outside the club at the end of the night. Nobody has to find a taxi line, split a group across rideshares, or wander a resort looking for a pickup zone at 2 AM.

Hourly service has a 3-hour minimum and includes the chauffeur, vehicle, fuel and standard wait time, with no per-mile fees inside the hourly window. One or two quick stops on a point-to-point trip are typically no charge, but a full evening with several venues is what the hourly format is for.

When you book, share the plan: restaurant, show, club, the hotel you are returning to, and roughly when. Dispatch will suggest a sensible number of hours and confirm meeting points at each venue.

Day two: pool parties, brunch and recovery

The day after the big night is usually shorter trips: brunch off-property, a pool party at another resort, or a group activity. Point-to-point transfers usually work well here. If the group is spreading out across the city, an Executive SUV and a sedan may be more practical than one Sprinter.

Etiquette that keeps the weekend smooth

  • Name a point person. One person should be the contact for the chauffeur and dispatch.
  • Be at the door on time. Resort driveways do not allow long waits. The chauffeur's name and contact arrive before pickup; message them if the group is running late.
  • Keep the vehicle in good shape. It helps everyone, and it is part of good chauffeur etiquette.
  • Sort gratuity in advance. Our rate card lists gratuity separately, with 18-20% standard for professional chauffeured service. Many groups add it at booking so no one has to think about it at 2 AM.

Watch the calendar

If your weekend overlaps a major convention such as CES or SEMA, EDC weekend in May, or the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix in November, vehicles are in high demand and roads around the Strip are slower. Book earlier, 3-4 weeks for the big conventions and 4+ weeks for F1 week, and expect longer transfer times.

Departure day

Book the return to the airport when you book the arrival. Give each traveller's flight and airline so the group is dropped at the right terminal, and allow for rush-hour traffic: weekday rush windows are 6:30-8:30 AM and 4:00-6:30 PM.

Cancellations made 2+ hours before pickup are free, so it costs nothing to hold the vehicles while plans settle. When you are ready, request a quote with your dates, headcount and plans.

Frequently asked questions

What vehicle should a bachelor or bachelorette group book in Las Vegas?
Up to 6 people with luggage fit an Executive SUV. Groups of 7 to 12 book the Sprinter Van, which carries 12 passengers and 12 bags so everyone rides together.
Should we book hourly or point-to-point for the big night?
Hourly. The chauffeur waits between dinner, the show and the club, and brings the group back together. Hourly service has a 3-hour minimum.
Can the whole group be picked up at the airport together?
Yes, if you land close together. Give dispatch every flight number; if arrivals are spread out, split the group or book a later pickup for the last arrivals.
How far ahead should we book?
Two to three weeks is sensible for a weekend, and earlier if your dates fall during a major convention, EDC weekend or the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix.
Is gratuity included?
Our rate card lists gratuity separately, with 18-20% standard for professional chauffeured service. Check your confirmation, which states what is included.
