Car service built around the resort corridor

The Las Vegas Strip is the stretch of Las Vegas Blvd lined with resort casinos, in unincorporated Paradise just north of Harry Reid International Airport. Most visitors spend their whole trip here, and most of their ground transportation starts or ends at a resort driveway: the airport arrival, a dinner off-property, a show, a game, a convention day and the ride back to the airport.

Chauffeur Service Las Vegas books those trips in advance at published rates. The chauffeur meets you at the resort entrance agreed for your pickup, handles the bags and uses the fastest route on the day, which is often I-15, Paradise Rd or the roads behind the resorts rather than the Boulevard itself. For the airport leg, see las vegas airport transportation to hotel.

How resort pickups work

Every resort handles private cars differently. Some have a main porte-cochere on Las Vegas Blvd, others route limousines and private cars to a separate entrance, and the rideshare zone is often somewhere else again. Dispatch confirms the right door for your property, and your chauffeur's name and contact are sent before pickup so you can adjust if you are coming from a different tower or exit.

Be at the agreed door at the booked time: resort driveways do not allow long waits. If you are running behind, message the chauffeur. For evenings with several stops, an hourly chauffeur booking keeps the same car waiting between venues, so there is no queue at the taxi stand after each one.

Arenas, shows and conventions

The Strip corridor holds the city's biggest venues. Allegiant Stadium, at 3333 Al Davis Way, is about 3 miles from the Strip via Las Vegas Blvd, I-15 and Hacienda Ave: roughly 8 minutes off-peak and 15-25 minutes in event traffic. T-Mobile Arena and Sphere sit just off the Boulevard, and pickup points for both are agreed before the event rather than negotiated at the curb when the crowd leaves. See Allegiant Stadium transportation and concert transportation.

For conventions, the Las Vegas Convention Center is about 3 miles from the Strip on Paradise Rd: 10 minutes off-peak and 20-30 minutes when the halls let out. Venetian Expo connects directly to The Venetian and Palazzo towers, and Mandalay Bay Convention Center sits at the south end of the corridor. Our las vegas convention transportation page covers show-week planning.

Traffic, closures and timing

Weekday rush hours are 6:30-8:30 AM and 4:00-6:30 PM, but the Strip has its own rhythm: the Boulevard slows when shows start and end, and resort driveways back up at checkout time. Large events change routing entirely. During the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix in November, Las Vegas Blvd, Sands Ave and Koval Ln close to through traffic for several days, and CES and other big conventions can trigger partial closures that add 30-60+ minutes to Strip-adjacent transfers.

On those days, dispatch confirms the route and each hotel's access point on the morning of service and builds the extra time into your pickup. Our guide to las vegas strip transportation explains how to plan around the busiest windows.

Choosing a vehicle on the Strip

Point-to-point service starts at $160 in an Executive Sedan (3 passengers, 3 bags), $200 in an Executive SUV (6 passengers, 6 bags), $400 in a Mercedes S-Class (3 passengers, 2 bags) and $710 in a Sprinter Van (12 passengers, 12 bags). Couples and solo travellers usually take the sedan; families and friends with luggage take the SUV; celebrations and VIP arrivals often choose the S-Class; and bachelor, bachelorette and wedding groups book the Sprinter so everyone rides together.

Prices are set at booking and do not surge. For multi-stop nights, see nightlife transportation and bachelor party transportation. Every vehicle is listed on the fleet page.
