Las Vegas Convention Calendar
Las Vegas Convention Calendar with professional chauffeurs, flight tracking & 24/7 dispatch. Flat all-in rates from $160. Book online in minutes. No surge.
Las Vegas runs on a convention calendar. A handful of major shows each year fill the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC), the Strip resort meeting space and the airport all at once, and those weeks behave very differently from the rest of the year when it comes to getting around. If you are attending, exhibiting or sending a team, knowing the calendar is the first step in planning ground transportation.
Below is a month-by-month view of the shows that move the most people, with the booking lead time we recommend for each. For the planning side, see our las vegas convention transportation planning guide.
January: CES and World of Concrete
CES (Consumer Electronics Show) is the biggest ground-transport week of the year in Las Vegas. It runs across LVCC and meeting space in the Strip resorts, with 140,000+ attendees and 4,000+ exhibitors. The heaviest congestion falls on Paradise Rd and the I-15/Desert Inn interchange, as LVCC-to-Strip-hotel traffic dominates the week. CES 2027 is set for January 6-9. Book 3-4 weeks ahead. See CES transportation.
World of Concrete follows at LVCC in January, with roughly 58,000 registered attendees and 1,500+ exhibitors from the construction and masonry trades. Its audience stays heavily in off-Strip business hotels, so pickups fan out across the valley rather than concentrating on the Boulevard. Book 2-3 weeks ahead. See World of Concrete transportation.
February and August: MAGIC Las Vegas
MAGIC is the fashion industry's trade event, held twice a year at LVCC with 2,600+ exhibiting brands from 45+ countries. It is trade-only, and demand concentrates on SUVs and S-Class sedans between Strip hotels and LVCC. Book about 2 weeks ahead.
March: ConExpo-Con/Agg (every three years)
ConExpo-Con/Agg only runs once every three years, in 2023, 2026 and next in 2029, but when it does it is the largest trade show in North America that year, with 139,000+ attendees (2023) and 2,400+ exhibitors. It fills off-Strip business hotels as well as the Strip, and it is the single largest convention-transport spike of the cycle. Book 4+ weeks ahead.
April: NAB Show
NAB Show brings the broadcast, media and entertainment technology industry to LVCC, with 55,000+ professional visitors and 1,100+ exhibiting companies. Production companies move crews and equipment between LVCC and Strip hotels, so group transfers with luggage capacity are in high demand. Book 2-3 weeks ahead. See NAB Show transportation.
May: EDC Las Vegas
EDC (Electric Daisy Carnival) is not a convention, but it moves more people than any of them: 500,000+ across three nights at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, 15+ miles north of the Strip. The busiest run is the 4-7 AM return down I-15 as guests head back at sunrise. Book 2-3 weeks ahead. See EDC transportation.
November: SEMA Show and the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix
SEMA Show, the automotive aftermarket industry's event at LVCC, draws 160,000+ attendees and 70,000+ buyers from 140+ countries, and it is open to the public only on its final day. Book 3-4 weeks ahead. See SEMA transportation.
The Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix runs on a 6.2 km street circuit on the Strip, with 300,000+ attendees over race weekend. Las Vegas Blvd, Sands Ave and Koval Ln close to through traffic for several days, and race setup overlaps with SEMA late in the month. Book 4+ weeks ahead. See F1 transportation.
What a big show week means for your trip
The airport is busier. Harry Reid International Airport is 6 miles from the Strip, 15 minutes off-peak and 25-40 minutes in rush traffic. On arrival days before major shows, allow more. Know your terminal: Terminal 1 for Southwest, American, Delta and Allegiant; Terminal 3 for United, Frontier, Alaska, JetBlue, Hawaiian and all international carriers.
The LVCC run takes longer than it looks. LVCC is about 3 miles from the Strip: 10 minutes off-peak and 20-30 minutes in rush traffic. At opening and closing times on show days it is often at the slow end.
Venue matters. Venetian Expo connects directly to The Venetian and Palazzo towers, so guests staying there may walk to the show. Mandalay Bay Convention Center sits at the south end of the Strip. LVCC has several buildings, so the pickup has to name the hall and door.
Closures happen. Large conventions and the F1 weekend can trigger partial closures of Las Vegas Blvd and add 30-60+ minutes to Strip-adjacent transfers.
How companies usually book show-week transportation
Most teams use a mix. A Sprinter Van (12 passengers, 12 bags) or Executive SUV (6 passengers, 6 bags) handles airport arrivals and departures for the group. Individual executives take sedans or an S-Class for meetings and dinners, often on an hourly booking with a 3-hour minimum so the chauffeur waits between appointments. Everything can sit on one itinerary and one invoice under corporate transportation las vegas.
Point-to-point service starts at $160 in an Executive Sedan, and all prices are set at booking with no surge. See the rate card for the full table, then request a quote with your show dates and hotel.
