A night out in Las Vegas rarely stays in one place. Dinner at one resort, a show at another, a club somewhere else and a late-night bite on the way home. Each move sounds short on a map, but the Strip is long, resort interiors are enormous, and at 2 AM the taxi lines and rideshare zones outside the big venues can be the slowest part of the night.

This guide covers how to plan nightlife transportation in Las Vegas so the evening runs on your schedule. For our service details, see VIP transportation las vegas and nightlife transportation.

Why nightlife needs a transport plan

Three things make Las Vegas nights harder to get around than they look.

Distances inside resorts. Walking from a club back to the resort's front entrance can take longer than the drive to the next venue. A chauffeur waiting at the right door saves that walk and the queue at the end of it.

Peak exit times. When a show, a concert at T-Mobile Arena or Sphere, or a club lets out, hundreds of people look for a ride at once. Pre-arranged pickups avoid the scramble.

Groups split easily. Once a group of eight splits across three rideshares, getting everyone to the same place at the same time becomes its own project.

Hourly service is built for nights out

For an evening with more than one stop, an hourly booking is the simplest approach. The chauffeur drops you at dinner, waits, drives you to the show, waits, and is at the agreed door when you leave the club. Hourly service has a 3-hour minimum and includes the chauffeur, vehicle, fuel and standard wait time, with no per-mile fees inside the hourly window. If the night runs longer than booked, extra time is billed at the vehicle's hourly rate.

When you book, share the rough plan: restaurants, the show, the venues you are considering and where the night ends. Dispatch will suggest a sensible number of hours and confirm the meeting point at each stop. Plans change, and that is fine; the chauffeur follows your schedule on the night.

For a single trip, such as hotel to club and back later, two point-to-point bookings can work, but you will need to agree a pickup time in advance.

Choosing the vehicle

  • Executive Sedan (3 passengers): a couple or a pair of friends.
  • Mercedes S-Class (3 passengers): a special occasion or a VIP guest who wants the best cabin.
  • Executive SUV (6 passengers): the most flexible choice for a small group.
  • Sprinter Van (12 passengers): birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette groups and corporate nights out, with everyone in one vehicle.

Every vehicle has bottled water, Wi-Fi and USB-C and Lightning charging, which helps late in the night when phones are low. Point-to-point service starts at $160 in the sedan, $200 in the SUV, $400 in the S-Class and $710 in the Sprinter; hourly rates are on the rate card. Beyond the Strip

Not every good night is on Las Vegas Blvd. Downtown Las Vegas around Fremont Street and the Arts District draws plenty of Strip guests, and the round trip is where a waiting car makes the most difference. Locals in Summerlin and Henderson often book a chauffeur for a night on the Strip so no one has to drive home.

Practical tips

Agree meeting points before you go in. Resort nightclubs often have their own entrances and exits. Tell the chauffeur which one you will use, or message them as you leave.

Keep one contact person. One phone number for the chauffeur makes the end of the night faster.

Watch the calendar. Big fight nights, concerts, convention weeks and the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix in November all change traffic on the Strip. During race week, Las Vegas Blvd, Sands Ave and Koval Ln close to through traffic, and dispatch reroutes accordingly.

Be kind to the car. The next group will ride in it too. Our etiquette guide covers the basics, and our tipping guide covers gratuity.

Book ahead for weekends

Friday and Saturday nights are the busiest for group vehicles. Booking a few days ahead is usually enough outside major event weeks; for holiday weekends and big event nights, book earlier. Cancellations made 2+ hours before pickup are free. Request a quote with your date, group size and plans.

Frequently asked questions

What is the easiest way to get between clubs in Las Vegas?
An hourly chauffeur booking. The car waits at each venue and takes the group on to the next, so there is no taxi line or rideshare zone to find. Hourly service has a 3-hour minimum.
Can a chauffeur pick us up at 3 AM?
Yes. Dispatch runs 24/7, and on an hourly booking the chauffeur is waiting at the agreed pickup point when you leave.
Which vehicle is best for a night out with friends?
An Executive SUV seats 6; a Sprinter Van seats 12 and keeps a larger group together. For two or three people, the Executive Sedan or Mercedes S-Class.
Where does the chauffeur pick us up at a Strip resort?
At the entrance dispatch confirms for that property, which is often separate from the main valet line. The chauffeur's name and contact arrive before pickup.
Do you go to Downtown and Fremont Street as well as the Strip?
Yes. Downtown Las Vegas and Fremont Street are part of our service area, and an hourly booking brings the group back to the Strip at the end of the night.
